Whilst camping at Mount Buffalo in Easter 2007, for the first time ever I was able to get a reasonably good collection of bird photographs. This was because a) we were up there for nine days, which meant lots of photo opportunities, b) I had a new 70-300mm lens, which made getting close much easier, and c) some birds (especially the kookaburra) seemed especially keen to be photographed.

I'll put the species names onto these photos as soon as I find my book of Australian Birds.
