A black stone church at Þingeyrar (Þingeyrakirkja), near Blonduos in north Iceland. Built in 1877, it is one of Iceland's few stone churches.
Borgarvirki. This is a circular stone fort. It's assumed it was used for defence in the 13th century, but the first part of the Saga documenting the history of this area in Iceland was lost in a fire.
