Running Jump Creek.
From time to time the sun broke throught to light up the grass in the Cresta Valley.
"What do we do with a problem like Maria?" Several car loads of walkers set off from the Campsite to the Cresta Valley Lodge, the start for the walk to Dickson's Falls. When we arrived, there was no sign of Maria's car, with Maria, Lachlan and Eliza. We waited for ten minutes, but there was no sign of her car - and no answer from her phone. Eventually, John asserted that she must know where we intended to go, since she had been on this walk before. Slightly mystified, we set off without them. Then, after we had been walking a few minutes, Maria and family turned up and parked. Whilst we waited for them to catch us up, we burst into an impromptu singing of "What do you do with a problem like Maria?" (from the Sound of Music) - with the singers managing several voices: bass, alto, tenor.
