Melbourne Zoo November 2006
The Melbourne Zoo has been busy recently: they've opened a new Orang Utang zone and updated many other enclosures. Dennis and I visited the Zoo in November 2006, and I took advantage of my new 70-300mm lens to get real close to the animals.

An Australasian Gannet. This is a seabird - normally a strong flyer. This bird was rescued after being injured at sea and can no longer fly. This bird had charisma. (Which is probably apparent from this photo.)
