Melbourne Zoo November 2006
The Melbourne Zoo has been busy recently: they've opened a new Orang Utang zone and updated many other enclosures. Dennis and I visited the Zoo in November 2006, and I took advantage of my new 70-300mm lens to get real close to the animals.

This is a Golden Lion Tamarin. When not living in Royal Park, Melbourne, Golden Lion Tamarins typically live in small groups in the tropical forests of Brazil. This Tamarin is basking under a sun lamp.
